Welcome Defeated Elementary

Message from Principal, Meranda Cook -

On behalf of the entire staff, it is my pleasure to welcome you and your child  to Defeated Creek Elementary School.  It is an honor for your child's educational journey to begin with us.  I encourage you to stay in close contact with the school because we believe that education is a joint effort between school and family.  Communication is the key to building a positive relationship with everyone involved in your child's education.

I am so proud of the professional and loving staff you will find at DCES.  Your children are our number one priority as we work as a team to maintain a positive learning environment with high expectations.  I consider it a blessing to come to Defeated every single day and feel confident that I have the best job in the world.

Again, I extend a warm welcome to you.  It is a pleasure for me to be your child's principal.  Please be aware of my open door policy, and understand that I am willing to help in any way that I can.
