I graduated in 1986 from Gordonsville High School. I went to work at Smith County Head Start from Jan. 1987- Oct. 1991. I was a stay at home Mom from 1991-2000. After my children were ready for Kindergarten, I went to work as a substitute teacher for 4 years. In 2005 I came to work as an educational assistant in Pre K. This is my 5th year in and I LOVE IT!! It is a new adventure everyday with 4 & 5 year olds. To see the students smile, the stories they tell, and how they learn makes me enjoy being here at Forks River School.

 

     My husband, Ricky and I live in Elmwood with our two children Andrew & Amber. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy playing the piano. My family and I attend church at New Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Chestnut Mound.
