Cheerleading

     Cheerleading at Forks River School is an athletic sport. Cheerleaders are expected to condition and practice after school. The program begins with tryouts and runs through the end of basketball season. Cheerleaders lead crowd spirit at all basketball games.

     All 4th-8th graders are eligible to try out. To be a cheerleader, you must hold a "C" average and not receive an “F” in a single class. You have to be a positive role model. Meetings and Practices are very important. Please do not schedule doctor or dental appointments during these times. However, if you are absent from school, you will NOT be allowed to attend the practice/game for that day.

     We encourage any future or current FRS student who is interested in the sport of cheerleading to contact Ms. Thompson and come try out for the squad. It’s a great way to participate in your school, community and one of the fastest growing sports around! Tryouts are intense so start practicing early!
