     My name is Connie East. I am a graduate of Smith County High School and MTSU. I have been teaching in the Smith County school system since 1980. Most of my teaching career has been spent at Forks River.  I love this school and community.  I feel very blessed to have been given the opportunity to work with children.

     I live in South Carthage with my husband Stan and daughter Margaret. Margaret is a graduate of Tennessee Tech in Cookeville.  Our family has a small herd of Polled Hereford cattle.  I enjoy spending time with my family.
