Seventh Grade - Amanda Thompson athompson2@k12tn.net
My name is Amanda Thompson and this is my 4th
year teaching at Forks River. I grew up in Smith County and
graduated from Smith County High School in 2002. I received my
Bachelor's Degree from Tennessee Technological University in
Cookeville. I am highly qualified to teach all subjects in grades
5-8. I currently teach math in grades 7-8,
science in grades 7-8, and 7th grade I am
blessed to be settling into my new home in the
Rome community. In my free time I enjoy watching any
live sports. My favorites are Hockey games (Go Preds) and football
games on the collegiate level. "It's GREAT to be a TENNESSEE VOL!" I
love to cheer on my students as they play and develop those
fundamental skills of basketball, as well! And nothing beats the
atmosphere at Crump Paris. Did I mention I like sports? Another
favorite past time of mine is game nights with my friends. Even
though we all have very different things going on in our lives now,
we still make time
I
also have a class webpage that I am trying to update regularly with
announcements and assignments. Fell free to go by the page anytime.
