The Library is having our yearly Scholastic Book Fair from Thursday, September 4th through Friday, September 12th. All proceeds return directly to the school.
	Teen Read Week
To celebrate teen Read Week, we will be voting for our favorite books by grade level. Prepare to support your favorite!
	Box Tops for Education
Our library collects Box Tops for Education to support our library. For every Box Top brought in our school receives ten cents. All money is used to purchase new books for the library which serves every child in our school. Every filled Box Top sheet receives a treat when turned in.
	Pull Tabs
We also collect pull tabs from soda cans which we give to Mrs. Karen Hackett who teaches at Carthage Elementary School. She takes them to the Ronald McDonald House at Vanderbilt. Every year since our school has been in operation we have colleted over 13 gallons of pull tabs per year- enough to help families stay with their sick children at the hospital. Our middle school has a plaque in the hallway of the Ronald McDonald House.
	Candy Canes
Our annual Candy Cane Gram sales start in November. This is our largest fund raiser which goes directly into the purchase of new books. Students are encouraged to select the books for purchase.
