Mrs. Erica Dowell has three years teaching experience.  She is teaching our new PreK program for four year olds.  She earned her B.S. at Tennessee Tech and is presently working on a M.A.  She likes  scrapbooking, shopping, and all types of  arts and crafts projects she does with her class.

Mrs. Jennifer McKinney is the PreK assistant.  Ms. Jennifer has worked with four year olds before in the Headstart Program.  She has a daughter in the fifth grade at UHS.  

Kindergarten

Mrs. Pam Billington has been teaching kindergarten for 32 years.  She earned her B.S. degree from David Lipscomb College. Ms. Pam likes to crochet, sew, knit and going to the Predators hockey games.

This is Mrs. Anita Owens fifth year to teach.  Her degrees include a B.S. , M.A., and an Ed.S. all from Tennessee Tech. She has taught kindergarten four of her five years here at UHS.  Ms. Anita's likes to  scrapbook in her spare time.

1st Grade

Mrs. Brenda Owens has twenty-three years teaching experience.  She earned her degree from M.T.S.U. in Murfreesboro.  Ms. Brenda likes collect Hallmark Christmas ornaments, cookbooks, going to the Titans and Volunteer games and SHOPPING.

Mrs. Joanna Smith is our other first grade teacher this year.  She graduated from TTU and lives in Rickman with her husband and two children.  She likes crafts and reading.  Welcome aboard, Ms. Joanna!

2nd Grade

Mrs. Heather Brewer has been teaching for six years.  The past five years have been in 2nd grade.  She has earned both a B.S. and a M.A. degree in education.  When her toddler allows it, Ms. Heather likes reading, shopping, and collecting Longenberger baskets.

Mrs. Heidi Couthron is the new 2nd grade teacher this year.  This is her first year to teach.  She graduated from TSU.  She lives in Lebanon with her son who is in first grade.  Ms. Heidi likes to read and scrapbook.

3rd Grade

Mrs. Wanda Andrews earned her B.S. from David Lipscomb College.  She has been teaching for twenty-one years and is presently working on a M.A. at Cumberland College.  Ms. Wanda recently received the new title of "Grandma" with the birth of her first grandchild.

Mrs. Peggy Denton has nine years teaching experience.  She earned a B.S. from Tennessee Tech and is presently working on her M.A.  She enjoys shopping, listening to music, and shopping (not a mistake).
